About Ethan Moreau
Ethan Moreau is a Canadian former professional hockey player who carved out a notable 16-year NHL career, playing for the Chicago Blackhawks, Edmonton Oilers, Columbus Blue Jackets and Los Angeles Kings.
A first-round NHL draft selection, Ethan’s career was marked by significant achievements, including being named Edmonton Oilers MVP, serving as the 12th captain in Edmonton Oilers history, and winning the King Clancy Memorial Trophy for leadership and community contributions.
Before reaching the NHL, Ethan was named the CHL Scholastic Player of the Year, recognizing excellence both on the ice and academically.
Following his playing career, Ethan continued his involvement in professional hockey as an NHL scout, gaining valuable insight into talent evaluation, player development and what professional organizations look for in high-performance athletes.
Today, Ethan brings these experiences to audiences across corporate, university, educational, sports, charitable and community settings.
He has spoken to organizations including Enbridge and Brock University, sharing firsthand lessons from professional sport and connecting them to leadership, resilience, teamwork, accountability and achieving your potential.
